TW: mention of suicide, trauma, abuse, racism The beginning of spooky month (at least at Palsys With Palsies) is here! We had to break up our discussion of the "It" story/media into two parts...two chapters if you will. (hohoho, we are very clever) This first episode focuses on the communal trauma that is explored in the story, both by the town of Derry and by the kids. We compare the three forms that this story has taken: the book, the mini-series, and the most recent films, and how each one handles the aforementioned trauma. And also the grief Rebecca feels that Bill's ponytail is only included in the mini-series.
