PWP 35: The Julian Way Ministries and Dismantling Normalcy

Episode Summary

In this episode, we discuss Justin's ministry, The Julian Way. It is an organization focused on education and empowerment with, for, and by, persons of diverse embodiments. They seek to help places of faith, and other cultural institutions, achieve greater universal accessibility, by fostering environments where persons of all embodiments can work for leadership and equity throughout the whole of human life together. We talk about its beginnings, Justin's personal experiences in spreading the Julian Way message, and how the church has responded to Justin's "aggressive" pride in his disability. Links to the Julian Way website and the book, "The Julian Way: A Theology of Fullness For All of God's People" are in the show notes.
